White fabric base layer Make a paper pattern for each part of the chair you want to cover. Use a white fabric for the base covering. This will be the base layer that you then add parts of your wedding dress to.

A hot glue gun works you can use the lace embellishments from your dress on the top and back side of the chair. Cut them out separately and lay down the pattern on paper first to make sure you like it. Then sew or hot glue the pieces directly to the chair.

A ruffle sewing attachment helps the bottom of your wedding dress is perfect for turning into a chair cover skirt. Measure from the chair seat to the bottom of the floor for length and allow extra length to create a poof at the bottom. Then take a ruffle attachment and put it on your sewing machine. It will make an even ruffle. You can hot glue the ruffle around the chair seat and cover the seam with a wide ribbon.
